Choose Application Form. Depending on project, you may also have to select the type of form you wish to fill out. Forms are project-specific.
Choose the application type and click Continue.
The top line displays tabs; the bottom line displays action buttons. Below are two examples of possible application or proposal forms.
The tabs and buttons may also be project-specific. Click a tab to select it. Proposal ID number is system-generated.
The buttons may include some or all of the following:
Save and Submit
Save and Continue
Cancel Application
Exit
At the bottom of the page there are also tab navigation
buttons: a left arrow (
)
and a right arrow (
).
The left arrow is absent from the first page; the right arrow is absent
from the last page. You may navigate from tab to tab by clicking on the
tabs. You may also use the right arrow to advance to the next tab or the
left arrow to return to the previous tab.
Fill in all required fields (marked by an asterisk *) and other fields as needed. Saved applications appear in your list of proposals/applications under Proposals.
When you finish an application click Save and Continue > Exit to save it for later submission or Save and Submit for immediate submission.
After submission the application will be reviewed for completeness (its status will be Pending Completeness Review) before it is available for a content review.
At the completeness review step it may be withdrawn, returned to you, or advanced to the next step.
If it is withdrawn, you will receive e-mail notification to that effect. Withdrawn is a final decision.
If it is incomplete, it will be returned to you with a status of Pending Revisions/Clarifications for ..., visible in your Proposals and Assignments lists. You will also be e-mail notified about the expected clarifications. Provide the required additions and resubmit it. It will pass through the Pending Completeness Review and, if necessary, Pending Revisions status for a second, third, fourth, umpteenth time until it is withdrawn or found to be complete.
When it is complete, the application is advanced to the content review, and it will be marked as Pending Steering Committee Review.
At the content review step it may be withdrawn, returned to you for clarifications, not approved, or approved.
If it is withdrawn or not approved you will see these words in your Proposals list and will also receive e-mail notification to that effect. Withdrawn and Not Approved are final decisions.
If it is returned to you, you will see in your Proposals and Assignments lists its status as being Pending Revisions/Clarifications for ... . Provide the required clarifications and resubmit it.
If it is approved,
it will go to the second cycle of the
workflow
